1. Acceptance

By using Basalt, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. Service provided

Basalt is a strength training and fitness tracking app:

• Exercise catalog with instructions
• Session tracking (sets, loads, durations)
• Training programs
• Personal stats (PR, plateau, volume, estimated 1RM)
• iCloud-style sync across devices
• Apple Health integration
• Apple Watch, Widgets, Siri Shortcuts (depending on version)

The app is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it's error-free or that it fits all needs.

3. User account

• An account is required to use Basalt (Apple, Google, or email/password)
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → "Delete my account"

4. Basalt Pro subscription

• Monthly: auto-renews each month
• Annual: auto-renews each year
• Managed by Apple via your App Store account
• Cancellable at any time from iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions
• No refunds from OTIA LTD. For a refund, contact Apple Support.
• Pricing may change; you'll be notified 30 days before any change

5. Health disclaimer

Basalt is not a medical device. Load prefill, plateau detection, and 1RM estimates and projections are indicative and don't replace the advice of a coach or healthcare professional.

Before starting a training program, consult a doctor if you have any doubt about your physical condition.

You use the app at your own risk. OTIA LTD disclaims all liability for any injury related to misuse of programs or exercises.

6. Expected behavior

You agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Try to bypass paid features
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the source code
• Overload our servers (anti-DoS)

In case of violation, your account may be suspended without notice.

7. Intellectual property

• The code, design, programs, and illustrations of Basalt remain the property of OTIA LTD
• Your data (sessions, sets, profile) remains your property
• The exercise catalog may be enriched at any time

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OTIA LTD is not liable for indirect damages (loss of data, loss of revenue, etc.) related to use of the app.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. OTIA LTD may suspend or terminate your access for serious violations of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
